It can be fast as hell, can put a turbo on it and it will tuck under really nicely, or TR has some nice cams that make 400+ HP with factory manifolds

Kind of a weird question, but you can do a number of mods that people wouldn't be able to see. Such as, Heads, small cam, lid, gears, tune, and nitrous. If you asking for specific numbers, there's no telling, but I've seen cars that run 11's and even 10's and looked bone stock to most.

depends whos looking? my car looks perfectly stock to a normal eye. I mean you can see long tube headers.

if they are more advanced they will notice electric water pump, missing A/C system and A/C condenser, different rear end than stock, trans cooler, different heads (tell they are aftermarket)

the list goes on and on...

Tony's 427cid LSx made 550rwhp and ran mid 10's and trapped around 127mph.
Looked pretty damned stock to me. Hide a nitrous kit in there somewhere and 9's
are a breeze.

my car isn't fast, but surprises a lot of people clicking off 12.2s with a totally stock exterior and DRs. i think a 150 shot would get me close to 10s....that'd be a sleeper setup. totally stock exterior, interior, on stock rims going 10s...ha.

If your running 12.2's, change your sig and join the 12 sec club!

edit: just notice you already have, but that 14.xx looks pretty ugly in your sig.

Drag radials, built shortblock with ls6 cam + boost/nitrous...can easily have a 10 second car with near stock idle.

The latest issue of GM High Tech Performance has a couple of special edition Dick Harrell cars. The outside is completely different for visual reasons, but the engine compartments look stock except for a few dress-up items that are not needed and were making well over 500 HP at the flywheel. The problem is they probably don't sound very stock

Well, you need a roll cage if you run faster than 11.50's right?

But as in body mods? Well probably around 8.0's, then you might want an extended rear spoiler. And also chutes.

But it would be hard to be "stock looking" rolling around on huge D/R's.

People have actually asked me if my car was a V6 because I have no badges on the outside of the car, and unless you bend way over you cant see any exhaust tips at all.

Unfortunately, the charade ends the second I start the car...
