Smile Another mod done!

I can now say my car has an underdrive pulley I didn't use the overdrive pulley for the alternator though, my idle is set at about 850rpm's so I figured that'd be enough to keep it charged. If I have a problem, I'll switch it out then. I haven't really driven it far yet but I'll see what it does. It sucked to do though, had everything torn down and off (fans, lid, lower lid, MAF, belts, etc.) in about 4 mins, got the pulley bolt off in about 3, started pulling the pulley off and one of the tabs the puller was on snapped off the pulley so the puller was useless. It was about 1/3 off, it sucked getting it off the other 2/3's but its done now! All I really have to do next is port and polish my TB and see where I'm at.

EDIT: Oh, and I also had some revalved bilsteins put in yesterday. I love em'.

Yeah...that sucked to do! I couldn't believe how fast we had everything taken apart to have a effing tab break off the pulley. Its always something huh? Glad we got it done though! I'm ready to see how much it helps you out...

Honestly, I haven't really gotten on it yet, it was a long drive home from my friends house where I installed it and I didnt want the belt to slip off if I hit it on the highway. Once I got closer to home I did about 75% throttle and it seems to pull harder at part throttle. Have yet to go WOT, I probably will soon, once I'm not scared of it slipping. My tensioner is new and its lined up perfectly, I guess I'm just paranoid!

I hate that feeling. I am the same way after I work on my car, paraniod. I have been trying to get ready to do a cam swap for like 6 weeks, with the wife pregnet I dont have much money for the car. so when i do get to do something I cant aford to mess it up, or say lets do it over because I didn't get it right the first time.

Turbo Tony if you reading this I hope to have the money for the cam this week.

Pulleys aren't that bad at all, my car just plain and simply doesn't like being modded. Don't get me wrong, it reacts well to mods etc. but hates the process. After I put my cam in and pump, it develped a leak in the block! Not through a crack but pores, when I did my longtubes, my entire stock exhaust was welded together so I had to saw off the I-Pipe, and now the tab the puller grabs broke! My pulley cam off no problem when I did my cam, I guess it just didnt want it to happen again. Oh, and when I did do the cam the balance bolt was on so tight it snapped my break over end in 2.
