After getting my '96 3.8 Camaro totalled by a drunk driver (NOT me!) on Sept 14 I decided to up the ante a bit and get a Z. After looking through all of Houston I found one in San Antonio that had everything I wanted and drove it home the night of Sept 22. I've spent just about every night since then researching various subjects on this board and utilizing the "search" feature (WHAT a concept!) and I've found the answer to every question I've had and found more information than I possibly could have gotten elsewhere. A sincere thank you to all you who have made this possible for your hard work on the board and keeping us LS1 noobs in the know. I look forward to many years of happy driving and many more getting my info here.

Without this forum, I would be driving an un-modded corvette, still clueless how to properly wash and wax, change brakes, change springs, know what kind of oil to use, what wheels would fit, paying way too much for maintenance, never learning how to drive it like it is supposed to be, never pissing my wife off because it is 1:30 in the morning and I need one more coat of wax, or never knowing I could be so **** about anyone touching my car (where did that come from?). Love this forum. I spend at least 1 - 2 hrs a day here reading, learning, lusting.

yes how wonderfull the search button is but it's also nice when newbs ask the same questions just so we all can get a laugh and some human interaction
