Default Next Mod?

hmm.....decisions, decisions. Current Mod's in sig.

Next question. I can get a complete cam setup with stock heads (done a lot of research and changing heads is not REALLY necessary) including parts/labor/tune for $1,800. I see a Moser 12 Bolt's gonna cost $2,000 for the parts not sure on labor.

Which should I do next?
CAM or Rear End?

hmmm....what to do what to do???/ So many mods, never enough money!!!

Well, it would be great to cam it and have the added power and that awesome sound. But either way, sometime in the future you are going to have to drop the $$$ on a new rearend. So I guess you just have to decide if you want to do that now and not have to deal with a busted rearend later, or if you want to keep that burden on your shoulders and get a cam instead and see how long she lasts....Of course, we all know that getting the rearend now would be the logical thing to do, that being said, I will probably get a cam before I get a new rearend

Well, this car is my daily driver, and what I've been reading about stalls is that it takes the transmission out sooner and is extremely loud (high RPM's would make the exaust sound LOUDER since the stall forces high RPM's right?). Not really wanting to take the car to the track.

But reliability is a key to me. Fixing car = loosing overtime at work.

looking for horsepower, but I know obviously that HP will cause the rear end to go. Stalls cause more problems along the line as well?

hmmm....

Stall would be the first thing I did if I had an A4. But, being M6 I haven't done much research on the side effects of a stall so I can't comment about your concerns.I do know however that it will wake the car up perhaps making it SEEM like you got more HP out of it.

Personally if you don't plan on going to the track, and heavy hard launches aren't what you have in mind then the added hp would be cool. On the flip side though, if you like hole shots then a stall and rearend are in order.
