Voiding the warranty

usually basic mods wont void anything ie... catback, intake, short shifter, but once you get into headers and intake manifolds and messing with any emmission crap usually it will void the warrenty, but I would check with YOUR dealer b/c all dealers are different some are bigger dicks then others when it comes to warrenties...

anything that doesnt cause a failure wont void your warranty.
example, your rear or trans breaks and you pull in with DRs and rubber all over your wheelwells they might give you a problem.
ive noticed with most dealers if youre honest with them and dont insult their intelligence by trying to get warranty work due to obvious abuse you'll be ok with most bolt on mods.
alot of dealers can suck though. ive learned to get friendly with the techs and service managers and they'll hook you up. throwing them some work makes a big difference too.
