Default F-body Electrical Problems?

Well, You may be interested in knowing, I signed up on Corner-Carvers and let me tell you, they are some HARDCORE PEOPLE! BUT! They put up with my noobness enough to give me some seriously in depth info on F-body suspension/chassis. Several of them have stated a STOCK 4th gen 'vert is as stiff as an SN95 with SFC's!!! DAMN! So much for that. T-tops dont hurt these cars much (roof is plastic, and HT's have the T-top bracing nad just plastic that wasnt removed, no big difference.)

Anyways, one of them brought up the only problem F-bods have are electrical gremlins. I havent experienced any in my old 95 TA, or heard of much. Am I just sheltered? Or are F-bodies more prone to electrical snafu's than other cars?

with ta's at least, the turn signals always burnout because water always gets up in there and sits in the socket but i have yet to have something short.. and i fixed that problem by drilling a hole in the back of the plastic you screw the socket into so it drains..

just get the damn car. haha

Same with me on the signals, I replaced them once and nothing since (orignal housing had 100k on them) then my steering wheel controls stopped lighting up, 125k before that happened, got new ones for $60. Finally my seatbelt sensor is going out 145k on that one (the lil dude on my dash w/his seat belt on flashes at me sometimes, I wanna kill that guy), but to fix that I'm just going to loop the wires to shut the light off, I'm well aware of when I'm buckled up. Other than that, absolutely nothing!

So far no electrical problems, other than a burned out DRL/turn signal
FWIW all the f bodys I've had (and its been 4) they've been bar none the most reliable cars I've ever owned, and yes that includes a few Jap cars too
