Default LS6 headers on a LS1 motor?

Is it possible to have Ls6 headers from a corvette and put them on a 99 camaro Z28 with the LS1? would there be clearance issues? if so, what wpuld have to be done?

no i dont think that it would work. i think the exaust outlet size is bigger on an ls6 than an ls1.

they will fit the ls1 but not the shape of the camaro. the body is different so it wont fit around the steering colum and around the body.

This is what i was looking for! i'm working at my shop right now, and that was an issue of discussion. Don't worry, I do not have any plans to do this. When i replace my headers, i'm going long tubes!

The stock LS6 manifolds will bolt up to the heads, but they won't fit in a f-body (they hit the k-member, ect.)
