"winterize" your car
Well my buddy just got a new 02 z28.. and he wanted to know how to prep your car for the winter.. hes going to garage it. So what kind of procedures should he take to properly "winterize" his car.

change the oil, fill the gas tank up, put some stabil in the gas. Pull the negative off the battery, get the car on blocks to no flatspot the tires, also put about 35-40 # in the tires.
When he lifts the car use the frame and to not put it on the tires, that would defeate the purpose. He may want to look into some traps to put under the car for different rodents.

Don't let is sit on the frame. It is a lot harder on the suspension than leting it sit on the tires. The tires will be fine after a mile or so on the road. Extending springs and shocks like that is a lot worse.

I just leave mine parked in the garage. I pull it out once every 3-4 weeks and let it run in the driveway until it's up to temperature. Then it's back in the garage for another 3-4 weeks. No Stabil, no jackstands.....nothing different from how it sets the rest of the year.
