Default o2 Sensor opinions

OK...I was getting code P0135, and a pending P1133.

I have been told somewhere that a Covette sensor was the way to go, a Bosch 13111 I beleive. And some other people swear by AC Delco for these things. The car has a full exhaust (sig).

Anybody have any opinions or care to explain the Corvette thing?

The vette rear o2 is supposed to have a better heater, so it can relieve the slow switching codes
I've got them on my 02, have had them since Dec, and so far no o2 codes (and it's a daily driver too)

And those are the Bosch 13111? Those are a direct plugin?

The bosch 13111, was a direct plug in for my 02, (the front sensors) couldn't tell you about a 99 (don't know if the connectors are different or not) they have a lot longer wire harness than the f body o2s so it works well for headers
As for getting them tuned out, that works, but only for the rear o2s, you need the front for the PCM to trim the fuel/air mix
