Good to see everything worked out for the better. Something similar just happened to me yesterday. It was the second time I'd drove my car since decmeber 17th and my GF's neighbor backed into it. She did $2100 worth of damage. Needs new bumper cover, 1/4 panal, marker, head and fog light. It kind of worked out because I was going to have my front bumper repainted and the sticker racing stripes remvoed come spring time, she just sped up the process.

She must have really slammed that thing hard. I got whaled by a Chevy 1500 and it didnt do that much damage to the rear.

Also yeah she did hit me really good. I had the brake on and luckily it wasn't in gear but she hit me and pushed me 10 feet into a truck in front of me. Yeah I have learned to avoid being on the road near my house when my old high school lets out.
Never park my cars on the street. Will park the beater in front of work for less then 30 minutes before I leave but if it gets hit work will pay for it.
Camaro is NEVER parked in any street, if its EVER in a parking lot its towards the far end of the lot and I get in and out. If I am out cruising and we stop to eat we almost ALLWAYS park the cars at the end (single row all the way around) and we sit to were we can watch the cars.
Every intersection in it I watch people like a hawk as if they were going to hit me, have avoided at least one head on hit doing that.
Paranoid but have never had a problem
