What does "CAM ONLY" mean to you?

What does "CAM ONLY" mean to you? venting a bit, but it seems like i see alot of threads listing times or numbers saying, "Cam Only". i think people r throwing this term around too much w/o including other mods, such as intake, TB, U/D, MAF, LT's, etc.
i have come to the realization that people consider bolt-ons w/ a cam, "Cam Only". but that still does not make the other mods irrelevant. i think people need to be more specific in their descriptions/signatures.
what do u guys think when someone says, "Cam Only"? do u assume simple bolt-ons (LS6 intake if older, ported throttle body, catback) or major bolt-ons (FAST 90/90, LT's, MAF, U/D, etc)?

The only thing that bothers me is when poeple say cam only"
Yet Dont say there **** is GUTTED or has alot of SUS work on the car
All that plays a big roll, my freinds GUTTED Bolton car will put a hurten on Head N Cam cars
Why? Because the car is BARE METAL! LOL its like Honda light, pretty crazy but damn fast with only boltons

Cam only means the heads are stock. I know what you are saying about bolt ons. But it kind of goes without saying that a cam is a waste if you don't have lid & exhaust for it to breath. And in the case of autos a big cam also means little if the car is under stalled.
So if you hear someone say cam only here or are reading the cam only section of the timeslip database then it means full bolt ons (or close to it) with an aftermarket camshaft but still on the factory heads.

i completely understand it is not wise to only do a cam, i jus would like to know everything w/ the set-up is all.

"cam-only" means stock unported heads are still on the engine. It is an unusually gay term that a few LS1 guys thought up, which makes all of the other drag racing groups think LS1 guys that say it are homosexual.
To most of us, "cam-only" can be translated into "too cheap to buy heads"
