Default 5spd. 2002 z28

This is kinda weird. I went to the website of the car dealership I got my car from cause I seen a couple more there earlier today. They have one z28 and it's a 2002. But what gets me is that they say its a 5 speed manual. Maybe they just don't know what a 6 speed is or did some come with a 5 speed.

Just search for camaros if you want to see it.

None of them came with a 5 speed. They probably just made a mistake when entering the cars information

It's most probably a v6. I had a couple dealers tell me the base firebirds were Formulas. Sucks driving 45 minutes to find that out.

They screwed up. Unfortunately they didn't have any pics up yet so you can't look at it to see.

Either it's a Z28 and they typoed 5 instead of 6 for the manual transmission (most likely the case).

Or

It's a V6 Camaro with a 5 speed and they put the wrong engine size in the add (not as likely but still a possibilty).

If you were seriously interested then I would call them and make someone verify which mistake they made. Then tell them to knock 2K off the price

I have seen that mistake made several times before on adds. Usually its a 6 speed car and either the dealer makes a mistake in typing it in or they are just not familiar with the fact that these cars come with 6-speeds if they have a manual transmission. Most of the time they seem to assume that if a car is a manual its a 5-speed.

Yeah I think it is a z28 cause I drove by it and it said z28 that's why I went to the website to see how much it was and all that.

Or it could be a V-6 with Z-28 badges. Kind of like that V-6 Firebird with WS-6 badges in the cheesiest F-body thread.

Went back to the site yesterday they fixed it. Someone must of told them or they found out they put the wrong speed on there. I went there today cause I was bored and checked it out. It's really nice. I looked underneath and the only thing that looked rusty was the rearend. The gastank and all that stuff had no rust. Anyways this can be deleted now.
