Yep when you're gas gauge reaches E (or maybe one notch before-hand) a red Check Gauge light comes on. Apparently we don't deserve a gas specific light like what most other cars have. But yeah I don't know I go to E or near it all the time and last time i filled up I was ON E and my car only took 12.2 gallons which means i still had more than 4.5 gallons left. Just what I'm saying is don't trust your gas gauge. Especially when empty = 4.5 gallons

thats the main reason that i always fill up my car when i needle gets to around the 1/4 full mark. Had a fuel pump go out on my 92 camaro, and what a pain in the butt to replace. don't want to have to do it in this car.
