most sports cars are rear-wheel drive, have two seats and two doors and are designed to provide excellent handling, acceleration, and good looks

I took down a cammed TA yesterday in my stock "sports car."
Also my stock sports car (Z06) feels faster than my muscle car (LS1 Trans Am) when it was spraying a 75 shot of nitrous.

We raced twice. We slowed down to 30mph and I honked 3 times. He even got a slight jump on the start. I had him by several car-lengths each race.
PS - I owned a TA with a lid, cut-out, drag radials, and a 75 shot of nitrous. I'm telling you a stock C5 Z is faster my TA spraying.
Here was my TA.

This thread is a new twist on a never-ending thread in the General Section. I personally would rather drive a sporty, muscular pony car. It would have a bolt-on cam, would be driven in the rain, would run on BP gas, would get more attention than mustangs, and I would give it a 9 on the "how much do you love it" scale.

i think I voted wrong, lol....Trans Ams started life as muscle cars and they've sorta evolved into a sort of sports car and I like Vettes and ****, so I voted for sports cars....albeit, MUSCULAR sprts cars...no Miatas or bullshit like that for me
EDIT: muscle car

They are all sports cars. A muscle car, the way I see it, is a car with at least a 350 in it. (346 is close enough for the ls1 to make it into the "muscle" catagory)

Mine is a sports car with alot of muscle lol. Camaro and TA are more less, muscle cars. But is a Toyota Celica or a Hyundai Tiburon a "sports" car? no. its a sporty car. There's a difference.

So what is my 1999 Dodge Avenger??...Besides slow?...*lol*...I always tell people it is a sporty car, not a sports car...But if it had at least 250 HP MAYBE then it would be a sports car?...
