Default Where to get a new horn?

I'm just curious as to where I could get a replacement.aftermarket horn for my Trans Am. It's always bothered me how dinky it sounds and all of my friends make fun of me for it. But last night I was trying to do a 3 honk on the freeway and the other car couldn't even hear me. any help would be appreciated

GM Parts Direct if you want an OEM GM horn. Otherwise there was a link floating around for Locomotive compressor horns...which would ******* rock IMO.

I have the same problem.. My car sounds like I'm driving a mini or something when I blow the horn.. really annoying. Based on the part numbers I saw on this post I take it that the hi note and the low note horns are separate units. Where is the low note horn located at?

I think I had the same problem. When I honked, it sounded terrible. Almost embarrassing to even use it. I just replaced mine with another horn off a TA and it sounded just right. I dont think its seperate units? Just two horns mounted on one bracket.

I got bored today and took mine off just to mess with it. I played with the adjustment screws on the back of it to see if i could change to sound and ended up just killing both horns , so now I have none. I'll pick up some more this week and hope they sound better than what I had.

hysterical I have the same exact issue and never got around to doing the horn. Just check out any auto parts store ( I am acutally going right now) and get one. Autozone has a few. I wouldn't get the air horn that they sell though, I hear that the motor fries.

I think I'm going to check out pep boys this week. Mainly cause my buddy just picked up a P.A system for his daily driver for about $20 and I want to do the same. Hopefully they have some horns too.

The lower tone on my horn stopped working about a month or so ago. So now when I hit lock on my key fob is sounds uber gh3y with just the high note lol.
