I have a 2000 black ss camaro m6 and i am 19 years old and the other nite my girlfriend woke me up to take her home at 4am so i drive her home and about a block away i guess i fell asleep and she woke me up quickly but it was too late i crashed into a ditch on the other side of the road and i was stuck i couldnt push it out it was too deep! So i leave it there over nite and have my mom pick me up i get it towed in the mourning it cost $100 cuz it was on a sunday! Now my car is messed up and the check engine light is on but i had it checked at autozone and the guy used to be a gm tech and said it was the oxygen sensor after the cat so fine, but then later on in the day my car starts to over heat and the check gauge light comes on! the temp was at max! I drove it a couple blocks like that, can the engine already be warped? I am leaving it over night at the police station cuz i am a cso there. I plan on getting it towed in the morning at pepboys cuz thats my second job and they are going to check it to see whats wrong.

It probably over heated because the front end was packed full of snow, so the radiator got little or no air flow. Did you knock the lower air dam off when you went into the ditch? If thats missing your car will also over heat.

Damn...no advice, lol.
Seriously, get under the car. You have a crushed catalytic converter. This is causing power loss, overheating, and throwing the a/f after-cat ratios off and causing your 02 sensor to read ***. I am pretty solid on that guess
