Guys, just a warning for those who haven't done this or are still on the edge...

Yes, the key relocation mod WILL void any warranties or insurance policies you have on the car. Apparently, only ASE certified mechanics are authorized to do this mod. I was told it was a safety issue. I guess it's true, after seeing all the horror stories posted here.

I'm doing this mod right after I turn my inside door handles around so they open the other way.....damn, I might have to call in to work tomorrow because I probably don't have enough time to do it all today.

Actually you can find all the parts you need for this mod at Autozone......they are between the Skull shift **** with light up eyes and the spinner wheel airfreshener!

Fair warning.........after you do it you will have to recharge your A/C AND your flux capacitor!

speaking of this thread, i did an amazing mod recently and i'm more than happy with it.

i moved the girlfriend from the passenger seat to the back seat.

since then i noticed a good amount of wait transfer, better launches, and my car seems to not nag as loud when i race. i recommend to everyone.

only downfall is i started to hear a loud whine from the rear end area.

Wow to this and the original topic, thats just too much. I like how he was overly serious about the explanation and pictures. I scrolled through the pics in like 2 second's, as if I am going to read that mumbo jumbo. If you have to read to understand you shouldn't even be a passenger, little alone a driver in an LS1 or for any vehicle for that matter! LOL

Funny thing is that my keychain is the oposite to this so called 'mod' since I have a disconnect so it can stay running while I can lock/unlock the car from the remote along with the house key.

Funny ****, but I think the funniest part was where he was serious about it. I wish I had the time in the day where I could waste time over something like this. That's awesome, LOL ............. Ok I am done now! LOL
