first time i tried this, when leaving the house i decided to paint my street. it was pretty cool powerbraking then really quick shift to 2nd then back on the brake. i was gonna go for 3rd, but i didnt wanna actually go through the tires.

has anyone else done this without a linelock? how did it feel to you?

I know the LT1 has more low end torque I'll be buying a C5Z so shouldn't have a probblem roasting them in 2nd hehe

i usually start mine in 2nd, no problem

Just start in 2nd gear and dump the clutch. That's what you're supposed to do to heat up your tires at the track or to make a lot of smoke.

if i dump the clutch in 2nd, itll bog.

even at 5-6k thing just smoked the **** out of the tires.

with the 4.10s, my 2nd gear is like my old first gear.

When I was stock I fried the stock Goodyears 1-4th gear.
