Default Brink joins the WS6 club!

Well i'm moving out of my house, and since my 2001 SS was in my step dads name, they decided they wanted to keep it. So I went out and found a nice 2001 Trans Am WS6 with 50,000 miles. My real dad put this car in his name, and decided to pay all the payments until I am out of college so I can focus more on school then work.

Here are some pictures, it was raining outside, and I just bought the car yesterday, it was 100% stock down to the filter, with some circle pipes that are soon to be replaced by bigger tips. The car has a 3 chamber muffler.. it almost sounds like a flowmaster, but its not deep enough at high rpms. What is a muffler that isnt loud, but isnt quiet, I'm putting a louder one on there tomorrow, but perhaps I can sell the one thats currently on there.

It's nice to finally have a car with T-Tops! The car has power everything, and leather seats.. and is an automatic. Tell me what you think! I really am not to fond of the wheels that are on it.. Which wheels like the best on trans ams?

I like the factory 5-spoke wheels used on the '96-'00 WS6 cars the best. You can get them aftermarket in silver painted, high polished (like stock), or chrome.

a great non-expensive muffler to use is hooker, myself along with many local guys use it and it sounds great, not too loud, not too quiet. go to www.ls1sounds.com to hear different setups.

as for wheels, there are a ton of options, but as said above, the 96-00 WS6 wheels are beautiful, and really give the car a clean look, i opted for them in chrome:

They do look great in aftermarket chrome. Here they are on my WS6 in chrome:

Agreed! I loved them so much, I actually let my fat spoke WS6 wheels go in favor of Firehawks for my car. Next in line would be the thinner spoked WS6 wheels. Of course there are some SICK aftermarket wheels, but I am just talking about factory choices.

BTW, sweet car man! My previous TA was a pewter a4.
