I didn't know that the lug nuts had those little covers on them for over a year until I took the wheels off to do the brakes.

The other day I was taking the filter off my cold air intake, and when I removed the splash guard under the bumper to get at it guess what fell out? That little boot that covers the manual headlight ****. It had been missing since I bought the car. Makes me wonder what other goodies are hiding in this car.

Cool

I've known about it from day one......
Never use it, so it doesn't matter.

Just found out that you can turn on all the interior lights by turning up the dash illumination brightness dial until it clicks

To be fair it took me a month to figure out the hi-beams in the T/A. The first time I tried pulling the lever(wiper stick whatever) damn thing felt like it was going to snap off.

Several years ago, someone on one of the Jeep forums bought a CJ7 and asked the question of how to turn the brights off and on. He had tried everything on the steering column and nothing seemed to work. After all the laughing and smart remarks had died down, someone finally told him it was the switch on the floor next to his left foot.

His answer was........, "I wondered what that thing was?!?!?"

Ok I have an admission I had been changing the front turn signal lanterns on my 1999 ta by unscrewing the 10mm bolts from under the front fascia when a guy saw me doing it once he said "what are you doing?" then reached though the front bumper and rocked my world I have owned the car since new 15 years of ignorance.
