Default Car shopping...

This summer I will be looking for my next ride. I am going to be looking for an LS1 M6 car..either an SS or WS6 witchever I can find a better deal on. I am just curious if there are any good places to keep an eye on as far as for sale cars go. I obviosly will watch ebay and craigslist and I also frequent cars-on-line.com I just want to have an inside track if there is one I dont know about...If you know of a source, please share.

How much you looking to spend? I have seen some 98-99's in various places for 10K and a little under.

When I was searching for my LS1 a few years back I would check autotrader.com and usedcars.com regularly. And I found the one I wanted a few months after my searching began.

Im gonna be in the 10-15 Thousand range...But the cheaper I get, the faster I will be able to mod..so I am hunting for that sweet spot where the car is fresh enough that its a good starting point, but used enough that its a good price. Know what I mean?

great choice, go for the trifecta and go black

Anyway, I found mine it was either on autotrader.com or cars.com, not sure, but both good websites for my area.

If you don't mind the mild styling, used GTOs provide terrific bang-for-the-buck.

Autotrader is a good place and anywhere local. Private sellers are also a great way to go, especially the people on this site since others can vouch for them. Personally, I'd look in the for sale section on this site. Goodluck.

Yea, when the money is in place...I will be sure to post a "Wanted" on this site, I know that most of the legit members here have some nice rides, and know what they are doing. I wouldnt be so sure buying a modded car from anywhere else but here.
