Ahh I love my Z-28......
These cars truly are the most beautiful muscle cars on the road, other than the 60's models. I let my wife drive my Z-28 last night from the Chinese Buffet in Oak Ridge back to Knoxville while I followed her in the GTP. This was the first time I've ever seen my car going down the road, I've never let anyone drive it but it looked wicked with the 315's out back and with the Halo headlights, billet grille, SS spoiler, etc... I really got to hear how the car sounded too, damn it's loud and I don't even have my new catback on it yet. Should be here tomorrow though! So, have any of ya'll let someone drive your car while you followed it and just drooled over it's beauty? It sure is different looking at a car while it's going down the road, especially at night when the paint and aluminum wheels are shining.

i have yet to find someone worthy other than myself to drive my car without me in it. i let my mom drive it once with me in it and it scared her so that was the end of that. i nver had a chance to let my dad drive it and my grandpa has a low average at driving a stick car. so i digress. i want to find someone to do a drive by so i can see exactly how it sounds.

I know how you mean, me and my friend switch sometimes when we're out (Lucas'02SS on the board) and I love looking at how it looks! Not to sound conceited but it looks MEAN in my opinion, its low, BFG KD 315's, the lips on my Boyd's are decently big so that looks sick, the calipers look good, and it sounds mean. I love it. Although I think I *may* think about getting a Vette soon.

yeah i gotta find someone "trustworthy"....lol the only time i remember seeing my car(lol and me not in it) was the first time I saw the my car before I bought it. It was almost dusk, the guy drove up a LONG ramp into a hwy service stn(where we met), as he was driving up flashed the headlights, sickest f'n car I had ever seen.....(might be kinda biased....im sry). But just the way it came up the road, sold me on it!... i remember that everytime I see my car or that service station - its on the way up to my parents' cottage

I need to try this. I've done it with my old 6" lifted Jeep XJ to see how cool it looked sitting up high on big mud tires. Problem is, no one that I know can really drive stick. The people I know who can, I really don't see that much....

my brother had an 02 z28 and we would go on cruises and it was sick to watch his as we drove. if we stopped to eat or anything, we would park far away from everyone, but right next to each other and when we would come out, we would just stop, stand back and stare at them for a while. most beautiful thing in the world.

ya my buddy and i who owns a LT1 t/a (red95ta) were out at the local car scene one night and we got the idea to swap cars and drive each others down the road while we stood on the sidewalk, definately a great experience hearing/seeing my car, but this was before i lowered it/ws6 wheels, and the cam. can't wait to do it again lol!
