Please do some research you ******* douche bag. You may find out that the "im a badass driver" routine doesn't fit because you are 2-3tenths off of the auto that has only a mild stall.

Oh yay, you drive an auto vette. What's done to the car? Why isn't in your sig? Take some pictures of the car then I may believe you.

I won't sink to an idiot's level and will respectfully bow out of this thread before you drag me down with it. Good luck at justifying your existence, I have nothing to prove to you...grow up

I've had 2 WS6 Autos with stalls. The are really fast off the line and will give an M6 a run for its money. But from a roll like 40mph the M6 will always win. Autos use more gas especially with high stall converters and h/c. M6 are better on gas. I like the manuels. You can feel the seat of the pants performance through the gears, which you cant really tell in an auto except coming off the line hard.

Not really. I know a guy who ran 12.89 with a Borla and Lid. M6 Z28.

With a 50 post count you must not have seen this too often.
Why dont you forget the dyno-queen and go look in the LS1tech.com database and see which ones post the fastest stock times...A4 or M6...hint...M6.

Why don't you go to the strip and watch the guys there. Sure a few are still learning (me) but for the most part, the M6 guys will triumph. Hell, my friend ran a 12.9@107 with a 1.9 60' in a BONE STOCK (stock tires) 98 WS6 M6. Try it in your stock auto LS1.
Mid 13's? I see a lot of auto LS1's running 13.6 or higher. Choco for one. (but he has 2.73's).

I'm looking to buy an ls1 camaro soon and I want to know which will win in a RACE (1/4 mile, top speed etc.). An M6 or an A4. Stock vs stock. And new Stall new final drive vs Nice racing clutch.

This thread is old and should be dead.

The question at hand has been answered about 1,000,000 times on this board. Here it is again: Buy what YOU like, not what other's like.

If you want to know what these cars typically run stock and with mods (A4 and M6) just look around the site, search, check the drag racing section, etc.

Locking this one down....
