Default Ram Air Hood

I'm planning on getting a ram air hood for my regular 2000 Trans Am, there wont be any issues with it fitting right, will there?

Nope shouldnt be. The cars are the same dimentions, you should be fine. What hood are you going to get and where? Just curious. I know a Ram Air hood but like a raptor or just the original from the factory WS6 hood.

Might want to check this question out in the appearance section.

Probably just a factory WS6 hood, but I really like the look of the raptors.

Will I gain some horsepower with just the hood due to air flow, or will I need to get the ram air intake(planning on it sometime, anyways)to see any difference?

Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the help.

The Raptors are pretty sweet, but the factory WS6 are I think the nicest.

No you wont see any HP with the hood. Maybe if you do the SSRA mod and just keep the lid would be the best way to go. Other than that, I dont believe anything else is going to help. I mean, I know some guys have sealed off the air box from the ram air, but the thing is, the high pressure is down low, therefore, the SSRA (super sucker ram air) is going to be your best bet.
