Clutch fluid?

Clutch fluid?
Is that what lives in the LITTLE white cup in the upper right-hand corner of the engine bay with 1 rubber hose coming out the bottom of it and a cap that says "fill to step" DOT3 Brake Fluid only?
If so, I stuck my finger in it (Damn that sounds bad when referring to unknown mechanical things) and it came back with what looked like baby oil on it. Clear and scentless. Guess this means im in good shape? Is it normal for it to be this clean after 78K miles?

Both the clutch and brake resivars (SP) are in the right hand corner of the engine bay and both have white caps, both take dot 3 break fluid, and yea if its clear then its in good shape, Not sure of the life of it though, usually I only mess with it if A. Im having hyrolic problems, or B. Im changing the clutch or master or slave cylinder

I was worried that you weren't going to start a new thread today.
The clutch fluid reservoir is the small round one (you found it.) The fluid should almost be a honey color. When it turns black (like mine always seems to be) it means the fluid got heated or dirty and should be changed.

If you can see to the bottom of the cup, you're alright.
I had issues with mine being a bit black, turned out the cat was frying the fluid with it's location. I had to insulate it with rubber hose and move it a bit into what I think is supposed to be it's normal area. It's been clear ever since.
