I would keep the WS6. You have a beautiful car! Fix the problems that you have with it. As said before, the 04 has the LS1 as well and there are no guarantees that any car is going to be more reliable.
If you want an LS2, do like I did. Buy a LS2 block and stick a stroker kit in it. Add some heads... well, you get the idea. If you go this route you can have a killer set up and stay under the $20k. Good luck in whatever you decide.

It sounds like you want something newer, or at least something with less miles. Maybe you should look into selling your current WS6 and buying another one with a fraction of the miles? Also, are you at all interested in a C5? They can be had for under $20k now with pretty low miles.
The next GM car I buy will likely be some kind of Corvette. The GTOs look ok on the outside, and they definitely have a great interior, but I still don't think I'd be entirely happy driving one because of the exterior looks. They are a bit too plain for my tastes.

Well,
Thanks for all the feedback guys. I've decided to keep my love for now, i looked at a few C5's on ebay and I really couldnt find anything in my price range. I think im going to do a pretty big overhaul on my car and spend a few grand then keep it as is till it dies... I would agree that i like how my car looks as opposed to the goat and I can deal with the interior. Now its time to search what ya'll say about the few and proud 100K f-bods...

Your TA has a lot more character. I'm with some of the others, if I'm trading up, I'm going to a Corvette or something old and exotic like a Lotus (yeah, talk about hard on the wallet) Esprit. The Holden based GTO certainly has it's strong points but there is also a reason dealers have a 60 + day supply sitting on dealer lots.
