LS1tech has a lot of performance guys on it. I don't think that many guys who are really into performance bought SSRs. They're slow for the $, ugly (IMO), and aren't very useful as a truck. I'd take an SRT10 over one any day. To each his own.

My dad owns a red LS2 model with an A4 and 4.10s. It's not slow, by any means, and anyone who thinks different hasn't driven one. He wanted a toy he could take on vacation and tow his bikes with. I begged and pleaded for him to get a C6, but he decided against it.

ive seen them in the 12's with bolt ons... not too bad, plus its like the ultimate cruiser. the beds perfect for golf clubs or groceries, just like a huge trunk, hardtop convertible.. shame their so expensive and their production was so short.

I don't know if you guys are responding to me when you're claiming it's not slow, but for the $ it's not really that quick. If I'm spending that kind of cash for a 2 seater, it's going to be a Vette.

I've always liked the looks of them, especially when lowered. And for those of you throwing out the "too heavy" card, think TBSS... heavy? yes. still badass? yep

First off I do feel a lot of love on the forum in regards to the SSR. Some like it a lot don't but here is one I'm sure a few of you could tolerate. I must say it is fun sending Mustangs home to tell momma they got their asses handed to them by a little Chevy pickup Take a look at the numbers I put down. Respectable?
