Default Getting my baby back

After a few months of realizing I made a bad trade (on my end), it looks like the guy will be able to work something out to let me have my 98 Camaro back. You may have remember that I traded it for a 95 mustang gt. I'm so happy that she'll be coming back home, I miss her alot. I'm a GM guy, not a ford guy i don't know what I was thinking. Cheers!

Nothing in the mustang really satisfies me as much as my camaro does/did. I've always owned camaros, and I am not changing now!

well once i made a thread looking to see if there were other mystic tealers on ls1tech but there only but a few. But apparently the color is only uncommon, not rare. Seems rare to me!

make that 2.
i guess there were only 49X made in 1998 as far as Camaro's are concerned. and about half of that were LS1's. i think its uncommon as well as rare.

i am guessing it was that big damn blue oval on it, that thing must weigh 1,000 lbs, slows down a car real bad, lol

Welcome back to the dark side heh

I've got a Mystic Teal 98 as well. Oddly enough, I've seen another one pass through my neighbourhood half a year ago and almost freaked that someone had stolen my car until I noticed the badges on the side didn't match mine.

I haven't seen another mystic teal camaro in person since, even at the Camaro Nationals in St Catherines Canada, didn't see another one either.

ya kind of. Well what happened is we were both at the drag strip and he let me take it for a run. and as soon as I hopped in it all my good memories came back of how much I loved this car. I can live with the Automatic cuz this stick isn't all that great. The handling was nice a firm, the interior was much more comfy, she was dirty but the paint still shined through in that awesome blue/green shift. I warmed up the tires for a few seconds and I knew I had some power under my foot again finally. I lined it up and stalled up to about 1700. I punched it almost imediately and got a 2.0 60' and man this car actually pulled and put you in your seat! Before I knew it I was already cross the trap at 13.2 @ 105. The best run of the night in the mustang was a lousy 15.0 @ 92. That's what made me realize how much i missed. Having confidence when challenged to a race and all that, and people always complimenting the color, the ls1 and how clean it is. I don't care if it's high mileage, she's mine and I'm gonna always be there for it.
