If you think about it if he has a 16.8 gallion tank and does highway driving and gets 30 MPG's (which I have done before) Thats 504 Miles if you run it dry, now if hes gettin a little more then 30 and runs it DRY then its possible I guess, I think that most of us just dont run it down to the bottom of the tank

Did you remember to reinstall the IAT sensor into your lid when you installed it? That could be the problem. Mine fell out and I only got 150 miles to a tank once.
Either that or he is running 10.2 gears or something...

i drove my car UNTUNED for the last week, lots of city driving and maybe 150 miles highway. i went 300 miles on the tank and when i got it tuned today, it was running REAL rich. With the 2.73 gears, no cam, just boltons i got like 220-260. only reason i got to 300 is b/c i didnt beat on it AT ALL while it was untuned

I tought it was. I have had my ls1 for about 8 months. In sept, I took to IN to see a friend. I filled up ran the AC up there, but not on the way back. It was 400-403 miles and the light came on and I stopped for gas. Mostly all just left it in 6th and crusie65-75 depending on where I was at. That included little bit of city redlight driving too once I got up there.
I was really suprised since I have the 233/239 cam in there with some good lift.
I told people at work and nobody belived me lol. V8's can't get that much. lol
BTW-thats off of a mail order tune from TSP and duals.

good idea... save your money.
