I usually wave to one of the high end models: LT1, LS1 ect but not usually to the V6 cars unless I know they are an enthusiast or they are really nice. There is one guy where I live with a v6 camaro with crappy little advanced auto tribal stickers all over his car and a fart pipe he waves, I rev...sorry but I cant tolerate that. he also told my brother his 3800 is pretty much the same as an SS! I choked on my own vomit when I heard that!

I don't wave much to anyone unless I know them, most F-body's I see are invited to the F-body club here so we know almost every F-body in town. I saw an LT1 camaro and he pulled up next to me at a light and asked why my T-tops weren't out... =D it was a nice day but I had to park the car in a parking lot soon.

I wave if its a v8 not a v6, and well basically thats it i just dont wave to v6s either i wave to a v8 camaro or trans or i rev when i get the borla on soon ill rev to them more often..lol

If i'm in the '02 and i see another 4thgen (especially LS1 car) then I give the downward nod. If im in the '88 and they nod or wave yeah i deff. acknowledge them. If its a girl driving, usually stab o' the throttle alittle

I usually nod to other nice looking F-bodies, and I give a thumbs up to special cars, like a really nice F-body or a good-looking American classic of any type. I always return acknowledgement somehow, although on the road I don't get a lot of it.

BTW, a really nice F-body to me consists of a clean, factory-stock _appearing_ one. V6s are fine, and modded sleepers are my favorites. I know there are people out there who don't appreciate a clean, stock-looking car like mine. I derive some satisfaction from that. I only wish I could make mine look MORE like a V6 without detracting from the factory WS6 identity.

As for 'Vette's, I love almost all of them -- just can't stand most 'Vette owners. They seem very aloof to me. If I drove a 'Vette, I'd still nod to F-bodies, but I'd probably continue to ignore other 'Vette owners.

we have an Fbody club in my area....i wave, or whatever just comes out. i usually lift my hand off the steering wheel and put my full hand up above the steering wheel. most of them catch it, it pisses me off when others look and then thro their head back up into the clouds without any acknowledgement at all.
