well im moving onto LS1's and picking up my 98 LS1 Z28 next week...im going to have around 2000 left after everythings done....i want a tune no matter what and thats usually around 400 so what should i do for the most power for $1600..definately a whole cam kit but im new to ls1's and this car is going to be a completely daily driver...want decent gas mileage and as close to 400 as i can before i buy some new heads in 6 months or so...and im going to change out the oil pump of course since it is a 98 so theres another 120 out of that so 1500 to spend on this

 

LS6 Oil pump.
Pacesetter LT headers.
Lid.
Catback.

Depending on what cam you go with you should be making 350-380rwhp.

 

Do an intake/tb and headers.

If you are going to do heads....Do your cam at the same time. It will save you either time or labor rate money.
