Obviously the LS1 is too much for you, what you should do is...
1. Give it to me, for free.
2. Buy a civic
3. Unplug one of the spark plug wires on it. (Don't want it to get out from under you, they're quick)

The way you worded the poll is not good. Your asking if you should keep it or get rid of it in the same sentence then looking for a yes or no answer. I didn't know how to answer the poll to say dont trade it keep z28.
The poll should have said should I trade the z28.

Your car has better looks than a 350z imho. Oh yeah, and more power. Keep the Z unless it is very high miles or has some serious problems, but it looks fine to me from the pics in your sig.

Trade it. The 350Z is worth more and if you can get it for the same price as your Z you can soon off-load it for a C5 or a newer Z. It's all about the money-play here. (By same payments I assume you mean amount AND! term length...)
On the merit of the cars...
The Z handles better than your F-body, but isn't nearly as potent. You will see high 13's out of it vs. high 12's/low 13's out of your F-body. It will get better mileage in the city and a bit better on the highway. Style is personal, I cannot weigh in there. Women as a rule tend to go for the Z over the F-body though...if that means anything to you, go for the Z, it has a higher "chic-magnet factor". Sorry but it's true. As far as build quality, the Z wins, but I am not a fan of it's interior. The Z is more fun in the twisties and daily driving, the F-body is more fun in *****-out speed.
The Z wont make you listen to slapping noises and clackety clackety lifters though, lmao.

the Z may be worth more but it's still a ricer. and you'll get your *** kicked by your old car. and everyone else who has a f-body or a mustang or a vette or a tahoe and a monte carlo SS or even a slowbalt (cobalt) SS done right. take the t-tops out and go whoop on those other 350 Z's.

I hope you didn't expect anyone (except for BlackWS6) to actually tell you to trade the Z28 for the Nissan. I guess it was for your amusement. Anyway I hope you heed the advice of everyone on this thread (except for Black WS6) and stick with real car here. As far as Black WS6 guy, I don't know where you are located, but the only people drawn to 350Z's are the ones who can't handle a real car, and most of the time it's 2 dudes who are married. In Texas, the chicks dig the 4x4's and muscle cars, and the 350 Z doesn't make the cut.

The 350z is a fine car, looks good, handles fairly well, economical, reliable and fairly fast.
Plus it's 6 years newer than your Fbody so I can see the appeal.
However I personally couldn't downgrade to a 350z from an Fbody. Sure you can add turbo's to a 350z and make it decent quick but for the money you could make your Fbody so much faster it wouldn't be real.
Surely the 350z is more expensive (purchase price) than what your Fbody is worth?? So if it's just the same monthly repayment and you are after a new ride why not shop around.
Personally I'd much rather have:
Later Fbody (TA, WS6, SS or z/28)
C5 Corvette
Mach 1
2001 Cobra
2003/4 Terminator
s197 Mustang
Pontiac GTO
Early Dodge Viper R/T
Over a 350z. But I'm not you, so do what you want

A lil advice to everyone....Don't refer to a Z28 as the Z when the other car is a 350Z and can also be referred to as the Z...And don't refer to the 350Z as the 350 becuse then it sounds like we're talking about the Z28...Its confusing
