i ran mine a ct and half low for a week not to long ago, i tryed to take it as easy as possible to the auto store and then a cobra tryed passing me.. well obviously i couldnt let that happen so i ripped it next to him and pulled a good bit and when i was done i was so pissed at myself knowing the pain and suffering i was putting her through on low oil lol

damn i KNOW i have ring issues....ill go through 1qt in a WEEK if im absolutly driving the **** outta it!!!....but i dont do that(just did it to see how bad)...but normal driving w/ gettin on it every now and again ill have to add one every 2 weeks....its terrible

For some reason i dont completely understand if your counterweights on your crank spin threw oil it is a parasitic drag on the rotating assembly. IF you go a lil skip on the oil like half to a qt. low to cut down drag you free up a few ponies. Basicly does the same thing as a windage tray except i dont recommend it. Hell it may not work with LSx engines i wouldnt do it.
