Wow, you mean the Holden/Vauxhall Monaros aren't just a close resemblance?

Nice car, but it sucks you had to get rid of a better looking one to get it......+1 on New wheels, and we will go from there lol.

We'll have to see about that...I hardly ever go south in MS...that last time I've been past Hernando might have been 10 years ago

One major regret....no T-tops!!!!!!!!! <- My hair will flow no more.

I won't buy anything newer until they come out with something else that has t-tops or targa. Don't like covertibles, can't afford a vette.

your mods should be
kooks LT's
catted mids
stall w/cooler
sticky tires
LPE intake
and tune.

the stock catback flows great so that can wait till you can get extra money to throw around(to add sound). the rims are fine, unless your going CCW 505s, or the drift R's. good luck man.

Nice choice i would get rid of one of my F-Bodies for a GTO but no way in hell I would of gotten a Auto GTO. When they were purchased new and you brought a A4 you had to pay a gas guzzler tax. The fuel economy is bad. Also the way the exhaust is set up on the GTO it sounds so damn good You have to have a manual!! Glad your happy with yours though

The wheels aren't great, but you should definitely save up for a full exhaust. I heard one at my local track with kooks, aftermarket x, and some muffler whose name te guy didn't know and it sounded orgasmic. On stock cam it sounded better than 95% of all the LS1s I've ever heard.

Yeah, I'll agree it's bad on gas, I'm averaging about 16-17mpg. I think if I did much highway driving on a trip, I doubt I'd get more than 20-21mpg. I love the car and the gas mileage is a small price to pay I think.

Congrats and welcome to the herd. Now you get to find out what the suspension and driveline parts cost....
Fortunately, the engine is cheap to work with as the Fbod and Vette boys primed the aftermarket for us.

To the haters you may run into you have one simple solution....take them for a ride!
Fastest way to shut up an F-bod hater and change another mind.
Ya don't see them everywhere either...nice and unique.

The Fbod might be quick, the Vette handles sweet, but you can take your GTO over the road for 10 hours and not need a hot-tub to work out the kinks.

1st mod: 3.91 gears. Trust me.
