Default Ok how about spark plugs?

What do you guys say for spark plugs for a 98 trans am? I've been looking at NGK ones maybe the vpower what would you guys say youve had the best experience with?

If your car is stock just put A/C platinum's back in it.

ac delco iridiums...gapped at .050....

youll be fine....ive run them for 9k miles so far...still damn clean

TR55's Just regular NGK's ALOT of guys run those and they perform great, and there under 2 bux a plug

I'm using the NGK TR55s right now (gapped at .055), been using them for years with great results. But I plan to try the AC Delco Iridiums next. However, for the AC Delco Iridiums, GM says to leave their gap at .040, so that's what I'd recommend to do for a stock to mild engine.

I would avoid the platinum tip plugs. IMO.

i like the NGK's but the plus for ac delco's is that the iridium holds up better then the copper of the ngk's......several hard open runs...and youll know what im talking about

I checked my stock plug and it was loosely gapped at .057 (Did not want to WEDGE the guage in there with the fine-wire setup). Stock is .060. I bet mine was right-on had I tight-gapped it. It looked mint and I have 79K on them.

tr55's here but thinking about going w/ iridium next. car is a little rough sometimes, i think they might need to be changed.

NGK Iridium IX's gapped at .050 here and they are holding up great.

FU*K NGK!!!Even though they are a good plug,they're are made in JAPAN

AC Delco plats or Irridiums are great I'm currently using autolite double platinums
