Its been tested in copperhead on powerblock - did real well!! but the down fall was 6 mi a gallon running it easy. The truck was fairly quick - something around 8 or 9 sec with that motor and no other changes

Sorry, I don't see that motor putting the Copperhead truck into the land of the single digit timeslip.

They're both 572''. There are two different versions however, a 620 horsepower street motor and a 720 horse race motor.

The Copperhead truck also had dual stage nitrous too.

This is from his new website:

"It's the very first, pre- production, GM Performance ZZ572 crate engine - packin' 620hp. Add to that a 150hp nitrous system, dual exhaust cutouts, overdrive and then hide it all in the console, and you have one sneaky snake!"

Then further down it has this listed...

"Bottle Blown Racing
Custom dual nitrous system. One 150HP system hidden under the intake, one 250HP system on top of intake"

Even with just that 150 shot thats still a 620hp motor on a 150 shot..... Not sure if it would go 9s, but I cant imagine that truck being to terribly heavy. Only issue I see with 9s is not letting the smoke out of the back tires.

LOL, I know one guy who's bought the 620R and is putting on the whipple 5 liter. Truckin magazine did it, I showed to him, and know the crate motor has been waiting for 4 months for the blower to arrive while he racks up the cash to pay for it, he's going to attempt to shoehorn it into a 96 chevy truck. I think he'll need some other supplies.
