03/04 cobra= fast,quick added power, FORGED,pulley/bolt-ons=11 sec, 4 seater
z06= Fast,lighter,looks more exotic/bad *** (head turner), cam/bolt ons= 11 sec, GM!!!
it really depends on what you want.... with the cobra you can make it fast in no time, but the z06 is not too far behind, the cobra motor is forged so it can handle a beating tho. The z06 to me seems to have higher standards, just for the fact that it is a corvette and a z06!!! I think the z06 overall willl impress more people when they look at it than a cobra. A mustang is a mustang to the general public so they wont think much of it....but to gear heads, they know whats up with the cobra..... and the z06 is known as a high end car to the general public .....and to gear heads,they also know whats up with the z06.
I would chose the z06 becuase i know i can make it fast, althouh it might not be as fast as a fully built cobra that goes 9's stock motor.......but egh, im fine with low 11s... ill let that one out of a thousand cobra beat me thats fully built......and ill beat the rest
.....and ill stil have the better looking ride

I like the car for the looks, and how they are great handling cars and double duty as a nice road racing/drag car when you want it to be..

I like the idea of the Z06 better too. Lighter, better handling, more stable, stock/stock almost identical accleration at the strip with both cars being easily moddable. Better mileage as well.
HOWEVER, the Z06 looks like just another 'vette, the cobra actually is pretty different from a regular mustang. Blower whine is kinda cool too.

Dont you think it is just a little retarded to ask Z06 or Cobra on a GM based website? but anyways it all depends what you want, if you like to work on your own car then I would get the Cobra, Vettes are a pain in the *** to work on IMO, especially when you lower them, you cant even change your own oil......but if you pay someone to do all your work then you could get either car, both cars are bad *** w/ a lot of potential so you really cant go wrong either way.....
