For drag racing I would take the Cobra hands down. For just about anything else I would take the Z06.
But I'm not the one who's buying it. Drive both and see which one YOU like best.

I would have to go Z06 as well. Head turner, much lighter than an 03 cobra, and a few bolt'ons and you will be smoking the cobra (as long as he doesn't pulley swap you).

He's talking about quick and cheap power from a pulley. To get pulleyed Cobra power the Vette is going to need at least a cam.
But the Vette is better for everything else IMO. Both are great cars, but for my weekend car, track day car, or DD I would MUCH rather have the Z06. As long as it isn't just a drag car, I want the Vette.

pulley, exhaust, and tune on a cobra and your looking at about 430 maybe even more, without barley getting ur hands dirty. Cobras respond INSANLEY to mods, i know 2 of my friends have them. Kinda made me jelous 
cuz i thoguht my car responded well to mods.

Z06 FTW... if i was choosing i would pick the Z06 everytime, that just my taste, but I wouldnt mind driving a cobra either. i think on this board more people are gonna choose a lsx powered vehicle, cuz most of them own one. thats why there on this site. i love the look of hte z06's tho... some day... some day

Get the Z 0H cobras are just heavy everytime i see a racing vid with a cobra vs vette the vette kills them for example a stock C6 ZO6 will kill a 500 rwhp cobra now i kno it seems like im talking out my *** but do a search on youtube and you shall see. Still my vote is on the Z06 and if you like the whine lol just get a kB blower on it its been done before.

Tough call. I love the power of Cobra's and there mod loving nature. With just a K/N FIPK and tune you can achieve 400+ at the wheels. Only down side is they are heavy and well they don't stand out to non gearheads. Don't handle As well as a Vette but it will pull a stock 01 z06 on the straight. The 04 Cobra is more rare then any new Vette as far as production. I live in a small town of 40k population. I know of 5 z06's easy and maybe 2 04 Cobra's.
Vette seams alot more fun to just be in, but driving in a tie breaker. The Vette seams eligant and fast, while the Cobra seams 70 big block fast with its stance and look.
Vette = fast figure skator
