I agree, anything can be made to be fast. The 2.2 and 2.5 turbos were pretty quick out of the box, especially the Turbo IIs.

Says he invested about 10K in an '88 Minivan to run 12's... and when you go to sell it, it's worth about 2k no matter HOW fast it is. I know cars aren't good investments... but I'm running close to the same times with LESS invested in my car including purchase price and I could sell mine for at least 8K. Makes no sense to me. Guess being different is worth a lot to some people.
