I get about 200-225 miles on the tank.

All city driving with high RPM shifts and tons of WOTs.

But now days I never fill up. I'll put either $5 or $10 in gas in her when I drive it. I do this because if I ever get caught in a race I'll be low on gas and have less weight

Believe it! this is where my guage is at without the car started, usually goes up a little bit, I probably have 30-40 mi left in the tank before filling it up. I dont need to make myself feel better, I have a car that likes to drink petro, I dont care, just proving that LS1's are a engeneering marvel. And by the way take a trip on an interstate, 6th gear, you really would be shocked to what it gets on the road, if you dont then well who knows. Anyways, all in fun.

Mike

edit. I reset my trip everytime I fill up.

Excuse me. I keep a record of every gas purchase and the trip mileage since the day I bought the car. The wife has been trained to do so as well (wish I could train her to do some other things) if she takes the car. With over 35,000 miles of records on a spread sheet to track all maintance and purshases for the car. My long term average is 21.9 miles per gallon. It takes very little time and effort to keep these records. Experience in SPC and life have tought me that the information could be useful some day.

But the numbers are correct! Facts not made up or inflated. So my average fillup is 14 gallons at 306 miles.

I have plenty of fun with the car too!

I get around 220 or so with the small tank. I've never put in more than 12.5 gallons bone dry. That's around town and highway @ about 19 mpg.

200-220 on mine, I can't fit more than 12 gallons. About 17-18 mpg, 50/50 highway/streets. Money well spent :-).

I usually get 280mls a tank with about 50-54 liters. About 70% Autobahn 75-120mls/h and 30% City. I think it's a pretty good gas mileage for a V8.

That's about the mileage I'm getting as well, I might get another .5 or 1.5 mpg above that(varies), and I usually fill 14.0-15.5 gallons.

I usually always fill up at the 1/4 tank mark and i'm at 180 miles so i assume i can get about 220 to a tank. I also have a heavy foor and this is 50/50 driving.

I have never put over 12.5 gallons in the tank.

BUt on a road trip i know i can get a around 300 to a tank.

Ok but how about you tell us how you waste the complete tank? I am talking pure straight...turn on car to go stop light to stop light to the mall. Then turn on stop light to stop to friends, turn on etc, to gf, etc, to school , etc....NO HIGHWAY no possibility of 6th gear...ALL stop and go traffic in a big city...

BIG DIFF!!!!!

around 275-300 for me. When I want to go fast I take it to the track, and watch the gas guage go down.

LOL. I just got my car out of storage a month ago, this is the tank of gas I put it away with. My car hasnt touched HWY yet with this tank, its all city driving. Stop light to stop light with screwing around in between. Its possible. Maybe you should check your fuel filter and plugs, sounds like your burning fuel IMO. LOL. I dont think everybody is BSing in here, sounds like on average everyone is about the same. Kinda states that we arent BSing Huh .

No its not...im guessing its because i dont fill her up to the BRIM ever! If I did end up putting ALL 15.5 gallons in her. that would be 45 bucks....and just to get 220 miles to the tank....I guess you could say thats good gas mileage

P.s you know some are bsing...300 to the tank...come on...I just dont see it...
