I went 350.7 miles on my last tank. You are more than welcome to come take a ride in my 20-22mpg LS1 any time you are in the Northeast Florida area.

200ish on the white car, H/C, stall and 4.10's aren't great for MPG, no idea on the ws6 yet.

I got 335 miles last tank averaged 24.2mpg 2000 WSG M6. Usually get 22-23 though... I used to shift at 1500rpm but the mileage is better at 2000! Weird.... but be the gear drop is better.

Get about 240 - 250 per tank with 1/4 left on the tank. Fill her up once a week.

I think I got the 13gal tank.. Is this right??

Some of you have the 17gal in your fbod??

98's are the only LS1 f body's with smaller gas tanks (15.5) and are metal not plastic like the 99-02's (16.8 to be exact)

My car is a 98 M6. I did H/C/I/E/bla last year, and have not really had the opportunity to average my mpg over a significant number of miles. I calculated 23mpg +/- on one short trip; mostly highway. If I rod around town, it drops to 13-14mpg.

I got 320 on my last tank, all highway. Surprised the hell out of me. Normally it is around 230, mostly city driving tho.

Your car wasn't empty. You still had a couple of gallons in the tank.

I think (not sure) there is a 2 gallon reserve.....When the needle hits E it doesn't nessesarily mean that there isn't any left in the tank. Just means you better get some gas soon or your walking.
