thats really f-ed up.

A buddy of mine that was working with me for my parents' business just got caught ripping us off too. Seems like you can't trust anyone.

How did you handle your "freind?"

i havnt brought it up i really dont know what to do. If it was one f my friends like the one guy i was talking about, they could have easily just made a copy of my key. And i meant he had a suburban 350 engine not an actual suburban. Still shady, but i want to clearify. Now i dont know what im going to do. I can get financed becuase i have no credit. When i got that trans am i was 17 and i didnt go on the contract. Now my parents are trying to buy a new house and cant clog up their credit which is totally understandable. oh yea and 2 nights after this i was in my 07 honda civic and someone hit me. can you believe this?

That is horrible! I must have missed it because I am only in the appearance section and western section on here...

I am so sorry to hear this! I'm wondering how in the world they stole it as well. Definetly someone who knew the car if it was stripped... Keep and eye on ebay for anything identifiably yours (like the seats)....

Sorry man

I live in San Diego too, right by downtown El Cajon. I'm so glad I finally cleared out my garage enough to park my car there, I hated my car sitting outside. Especially with people like those punks who went around and broke all those car windows with a wrist-rocket a while ago, that made me sick.

wouldnt low jack be a good solution? ive asked around and people say just let them steal it, no **** that noise, its not the matter of the money involved its just the thoughts and memories had with the car. and also as stated...they dont make T/A's anymore..

Qualcomm stadium (I just raced there last night, actually). They have races once or twice a month in the parking lot. Here's the website: RaceLegal

There's also a full time track out at Barona. I haven't raced there yet (Next month hopefully), but that track is a full time track, so you're going to get way better traction, and it's just nicer all around. Barona drags website

Both are 1/8 mile tracks.

i dont know i guess they burn them to try and cover evidence but mosts thefts turn up burnt. I never thought i needed low jack becuase i live on a private road. Of all places my house should be the safest. Its a private road off of a really remote road which is still off a semi remot road. I may have found a replacement though- a 97 formula ws6 for only $3900. But i dont know, i really want another ls1 if i get another bird. But i do love the ws6 lt1 trans am. So i think im going to buy it and convert it and keep all stock parts cause i know there arent many around. Still sad though

I remember you posted some pictures a few weeks ago of this car and I couldn't get over how gorgeous it was.. I am so sorry and best of luck with the new replacement. I'm sure you will make it your own just like this one was.
