Default hit 100,000...need to worry?

hey guys, i have a 97 ws6 that just 100 on the odometer..and its about to be procharged. Just curious how much life i can grab out of this lt1 motor. thanks

no cuz i didnt go to sleep yet lol..why say 19..and wake up and be like **** ..still 19..

Anyway, i don't see why not.. plenty of people run their LT1's and LS1's way past 100,xxx... and with the mentality of most people that own F-body's... if something goes wrong you can replace it with a better part, ya know?

If you're procharging the car you're obviously pretty serious about cars so have fun with the car, but be ready to get a daily driver if something goes wrong. Thats why I bought my sweet *** lincoln

Your car still has alot of life in it left, although you might consider breaking down the engine and checking the v. springs and the internals.

Some LT1 cars have head gasket problems, and this issue is amplified by forced induction obviously. It might behoove you to go ahead and replace the head gaskets while you can't drive it. You could even go as far as to put a slightly thicker head gasket which will lower your compression and allow for more boost. WHoooo Hooooo. Boost is good. Then again you could just blow it til it breaks.

i ran a 94 lt1 caprice up to 198k, and still going strong when i traded it off

The only problem I had with my 95 formula was a burnt out ignition coil. If your adding boost you might want to check yours.
