Default What insurance do you have?

I was wondering what is a good insurance company for our cars. I have to fbodys, this 99 ls1, and an 89 ta... both cars are insured with allstate, but the rates are way to high. It cost over 3000, a year to insure these cars full coverage... what is a good place i can get both cars insured and not have to worry about the repo man comin due to lack of funds.....

good lookin out in advance

i HAD allstate when i was younger.. then i realized how much they were raping me.. allstate is horrible on younger drivers in "performance cars"

i have progressive... its as cheap as it gets for me... plus i get a discount since my motorcycle is with them too (they are really the ONLY choice for cheap bike insurance.. they own that market by far. lol)

I've been very happy with State Farm in every way. Rates, service, claims settlement. Great company, as far as insurance compaines go, IMO.

I've been a customer of theirs for 12 years now.

Progressive is the BEST for motorcycle insurance. For my car, i have Geico and pay $167 a month. Im only 19, but that is with a PERFECT(knock on wood) driving record, and a good student discount. Geico wanted nearly $400 a month to insure my bike for full coverage, so I got a plan with Progressive, and am only paying $118/month for that.

MrDude, how much of a discount did they give you with your car and bike? I might think about picking up Progressive for my car as well.

i forget without digging out the paperwork, but its something small.. like $15 or $20... multi-policy discount, or something like that... in anycase, it puts it as cheaper then everywhere else.

keep in mind, im in south carolina... the state with the highest automotive rates in the country.

State Farm for my 02 WS6 and 00 ecsb z-71. They were the best out of everywhere I checked.

Progressive is def the best for bikes. My 02 954 was only 200ish a YEAR, but I sold it last fall.

Geico was very cheap a while back. I had them in 03, but if your record isnt PERFECT, they'll screw you, or try to.

What state do you live in??? I have Erie Insurance, they are actually getting big on the east coast of the US, and I pay 1100/per year and Im 24. Not too shabby. My rates drop a ton next birthday, 25 and I too am getting married next year. So I know Erie is in PA, NY, OH, MI, IN, IL, NC, VA, WV, MD, SC, KY, NJ, and I think a few other.
