Default buy my wrecked camaro or buy another

well im faced with a delema, i have done a lot of thinking about how much i miss my camaro. i can only afford to fight with the insurance company and buy back my totled, none fixable 02 z28 or find another camaro. what would you do. i dont really need a car because i have a 89 f250 and a 80 camaro. the f250 i could drive to work, and the 80 to work on. thanks for your help.

I would grab another ls1 as they are pretty cheap right now from the one's i have seen for sale as of late. Project cars always take longer than you thought they would in the start of things, you will miss not being able to have some fun in a muscle car for a couple years or how ever long you think it would take to get the 80 in shape. (those couple years will be painful! lol)

How much is it to buy back the wrecked 02? Putting the LS1 in the 80 seems like a win. You can use alot of the 02 parts on the 80. But if they want too much that kinda spoils it.

even if you decided to buy another ls1 car, you shold still buy it back and part it out, if its not wrecked too bad you can make a decent profit

yea another thing about project cars is that its the little things that add up so that will probally end up costing a decent amout if you went that route

Buy any 4th gen and transfer the non-broken parts over. There's gotta be some POS 93 V6 out there with an unbent frame. All ya gotta do is strip it and repaint it, and whatever else. I'm no body shop so I don't know all the details.

if you can buy it cheap, part it out then use the money to buy another ls1 car or rolling chassis for your motor/tranny from the wrecked ls1 car.

EDIT: OOPS TOO LATE
