well given the space that sshadow was talking about, go with more cubes then. you can get a decent cam with a 427 stroker kit and it will still be very streetable and get decent gas mileage.

Looking at that car, it needs something more refined than a heads/cam setup. A muscle-car sound would just be wrong for that car, or any other semi-exotic.
If it's not a problem for fitment, definitely go with forced induction - magnacharger alone would be enough for 100 + hp, no cam or headers needed. A turbo would be even better, but they're more complicated and more expensive.
If neither of this will fit, or if you just really want to go NA, then get a mild cam (GT2-3 or something) and some ported heads, and some headers. That should get you close to 400 whp, or 450+ crank hp. With the right exhaust, you might even be able to get the right sound out of it still.
If you get a cam with long duration or LSA, then it will sound really cammed and probably ruin the image the customer is looking for with that car. But since you work at a shop, you probably already know that.

Bolt-ons, cam, tune. Lope can be tuned out. The Camaro in my sig has a pretty big cam in it and does not lope. To top it off, it idles around 800rpm. And my throttle body has never seen a drill bit.
