that's a sweet car. ls1's are a great power plant too.

basically, in order to help you achieve the 100hp gain, we need to know how the car is going to be driven. there are many ways to get 400+rwhp from these engines very easily.

just search around the site, most cars on here make 100+ HP over stock. a healthy cam with the right heads and a FAST 90mm intake/throttle body should net you close to 430-450 rwhp.

Very true- is this car going to be a weekend cruiser or see the dragstrip often? If your going for a cruiser go for torque and don't be concerned with making the highest dyno, get strong trq. numbers starting down low and it will be hella fun to drive. If you plan on taking it to the strip much more often then you should build it a little different. Once you say what your using it for a lot of people can chime in with their suggestions.
Is this an auto or m(6?). I would say to go w/ a cam and set of heads, plus FAST 90/90. Before anything, however, you should do some sort of cold air, and a free flowing exhaust.. check into a set of true duals.

Edit: your cam and head choice can be decided on once you tell us what your using the car for, the rest are basically givens. If your auto I would get a stall too.

I assume he'll already have a dual setup if he's using a corvette donor car....or hopefully he was some crazy custom fabbed exhaust to go with that car.

Maggie and a blower cam, nice exhaust and be done, that car looks like a supercar so make it sound perform like one . The only reason I dont say huge H/C is because it just doesn't sound right when you see a supercar lope and shake (think modded Saleen S7), they are suppose to be streamline, smooth, and deadly.

for everyday driving and great reliability without issues :
heads
cam
headers
intake
tune shouldabout do it .
Though with bolt ons and a aggressive cam alone can net the 100 you are looking for .

You want to go N/A, FI, or spray?

You can bolt on a supercharger or turbo and get 100hp easy. The numbers in my sig are on a stock Ls1.

If you want stick NA, get typical boltons, headers, nice set of Ls6 heads with some work done to them, an ls6 or FAST intake, and have one of our sponsers spec ya out a cam or get one of the many off the shelf cams.

I agree that an exotic car like that would seem more appropriate with a smooth, high-tech sound instead of a lumpy cam rumble. Therefore, I say slap a intercooled centri-blower (Vortech or ATI) on it and call it a day...

Just found these pics of the kit car, guess full exhaust won't be much of an issue...http://www.priceofhistoys.com/2006/0...-gtm-supercar/

bolt ons and cam only here making 100 hp over the stock mark =)
Personally i'd go FI, a turbo is going to be great all around. One with a decently fast spool will be great for the road courses, and nasty at the strip!

To kinda help 351 out, The GTM is a midengine car, mated to a Porsche tranny. A maggie will not fit on top, due to the close proximity of the rear hatch and the intake manifold is reversed. You would have to get real creative to put a turbo or centrafical supercharger on it due to space. Kooks does make headers for it, and there is not much of an exhaust after those.
