I put pacesetter lt's installed about 2 months ago an im tryin to save for a tune + dyno. But it seems everytime I get close something else in my life happens and the tune gets put on the back burner. So how long was it before you had a tune after a lt install? Just wondering if there are any bad effects going a while without a tune?

when i did my exhaust i did a diablosport tune, so far so good...

I don't think it really hurts anything it just isn't 100% effective

I installed my pacesetters in August of 05 and I still haven't gotten around to getting a tune. No problems so far, knock on wood. Just not getting everything out of the car that I could.

I didn't get a tune until several months later when the cam, intake manifold/throttle body, rear end and some other stuff was installed. Didn't see the dire need of having like three or more tunes done in the course of a couple of months. The money was better spent on the cam......
