I went 13.6 at 106 when I was bone stock. My first run ever I spun to like 100+ft and missed third and still went 14.0 at 102. Something is definitely wrong. He is only trapping 74 in the 1/8.

I ran a 8.80 @ 82 at the 1/8th mile (no 1/4's around here) which when comparing timeslips to those in the timeslip database came out to 13.58 @ 103.x With a BAD tranny mount (i pulled the mount out next week and it fell off in three pieces)
stock WS6's are easily capable of 13.2 - 13.4 times.

I ran 13.5's to 13.7's stock with the 345hp package. Thats with low 2.2 60's and 30psi in the factory tires. The second time I went the car was lowered an inch with LT's through a LM2 and was cuttin steady 13.4's with an almost 2.3 60'. That 60' is killin me. I def need DR's.

Get that car back to the track, shift at 6000 each shift, and get those 60's down
I went 13.54@101 in a bone stock 97 LT1 T/A!! Stock intake/exhaust etc...if that LT1 car could do it, a Ram Air LS1 can![Happy](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_stretch.gif)
Driver mod is in order

Reason I ask is I took my WS6 to track for 1st time recently. Below is my time slip. I hooked up well on the below run w/ M6. Car has 65K miles and is near stock. Either I'm doing something wrong or my car sux.
60' 2.24
1/8 9.527 at 74 mph
1/4 14.693 at 96 mph

i have a question for you are you a lt1 or ls1 theres is going to be a really big difference in times. i had a 96 ws6 ram air and the best i could get it to run was a 14.1 in the quarter now i drive a 02 ss camaro i have a lid and im runnig 13.3 at 106 with a 60' at 2.1 with street tires. i would like eveyone else start by runnig 93 octane lower tire pressure and go from there.

Is running 87 octane going to affect times that much? Because my parents are absolutely convinced that the $2 they save with 87 octane is worth it. I know the car needs 91 (no 93 around here), but could someone explain why exactly 87 is bad for it?

You can save your $2 in change you get back in about two days worth of spending cash. So tell your parents to save their change at the end of the day and use it for gas at the end of the week when they need to fill up lol. Basically the higher the octane the better the performance.
