Default So I was talking to a Guy .. ..

Getting gas the other day and I walk in the store to grab a water and then you see the snickers bar at the counter so I had to get that to .. Anyway, he looked at my car and he says "I got bad news for you" He said he just had to order the "4"'s and the 5's to put up on the big sign that shows the prices .. So here in the east coast area it looks like gas is gonna be hitten high 4's low 5's ..

I think if it gets past the 4.20 area -- my car is sitting, no matter how nice it is outside and how good my gas mileage is compared to others (M6). Im saving for my future mods in my sig and Im not tapping into that account for gas. Lucky for me my family/occupation is the car business and we own a rental company along with our repair shop .. Those Daewoos that we dont rent anymore are gonne be getten some use again !!

Daewoo Stats

4 Cyl .. pretty sure its a 1.4 L or something under 2L engine

Less than a 100 HP at ...... every RPM !!

Compared to the truck i used to drive, my Z gets great gas mileage. But if gas goes into the 5's even i'll consider letting her drive (VW GTI) when we go out.

My goodness I feel horrible for you guys. I'm paying 2.99/gal for premium here in south carolina. But we always seem to have some of the lower gas prices around the country for which I am very thankful for but still aggravates the **** out of me that I'm paying the same price I did when Katrina hit and all hell broke lose at the oil companies. What the hell is up with these prices anyway? I did hear that prices are gonna be coming down a good bit here pretty soon.

It's been in a steady decline luckily. It was almost $3.75 here in Chicago.

We peaked here at around 3.39 a gal for reg. It's since dropped off to 2.99 for reg. Thank god for my beater pickup, I literally fill it up every 2 weeks and I drive it everywhere. The camaro mabey gets filled up once a month, twice during nice months. I've had it for 6 months and I've only put ~1500 miles on it not including long trips. I've put a total of 3500 on it but 2k has been 4 combined trips where I got 28mpg, otherwise I average 20-21.

Gas is on the way down at this point. Not up. Won't start going back up again unless we get hammered with hurricanes.

Why would he need to do that? Have they never had a price like $2.45? Or $2.55? They should already have every number 0-9.

I'm not buying into it. Gas has dropped here from 3.08 to 2.93 in just the past few days.

He's bs'in you man. It just dropped back to 2.99 here in KY for regular. I wouldn't worry about it.

We could always get our cars tuned for 87 octane though...

I paid I think $3.05/gallon for 93 last night in northeast Alabama. Prices have dropped nearly a dime the past week or two.
